About The Rally Program
The route has now been set; KAYRA 2001 will circumnavigate the Black Sea clockwise.

Members of the Committee have been meanwhile in Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. Russia, Georgia and the Black Sea coast of Turkey are on schedule for preparations.

The excursion to St.Petersburg and Moscow has been cancelled with the reason that it would be too tiring for the participants. The aim of the Rally is to avoid unnecessary stress and look for more relaxing activities after long and energy consuming passages. Furthermore the costs of the excursion were far above the expectations.

As you will notice from the Rally Program an interesting and relaxing tour is now planned within Ukraine. After arrival in Odessa and a day of rest we will leave with a night train -sleeping compartments for four- for Kiev and in the morning transfer to a river cruise ship. This ship will be our home for a 6-day cruise on the river Dnjepr back to Odessa. Double cabins with WC and shower are standard. Committee members have been already on board for inspection. Meals will be taken on board. The committee is working for getting this trip as far as possible sponsored but it might be necessary to ask the participants for a contribution to the costs of the trip if full sponsorship cannot be achieved. In any case drinks on board have to be paid for by the Rally participants.

During this voyage we will have shore excursions and it is the Committee's wish that they should be attended fully too.
